Drew's little photo shoot!

Busy Times!!

Drew is continuing to test our patience, make us laugh, and thank out Father in Heaven everyday for allowing us to be the parents of such an amazing boy! He lastest facination is with nuts! We have a huge bag of pistachio's and I have allowed him to play with a few of them. He carries them around like little prized possessions and transports them from one hiding place to another. If he loses them or catches that I have thrown the lastest batch away, he will walk around the house calling for them. "Nua Nua Nua," that is his word for nut, without the "t." Latley he loves the theme song for "Signing Time." He will point to the tv and start dancing if he wants it on. We watch the first 15 seconds and then he wants it rewound and played again. Thank you tevo for that great technology! Hopefully we will get over this obsession sometime soon! Like it states, we have been busy! With the warm weather it is so nice to finally be able to go outside! Luke & Hollie's wedding was absolutely amazing! I am so glad to have her as a new sister. Their pictures were great also! Go to Swensen Photography and the password is hollie. Sorry Hol's I hope that you don't care, but everyone should see just how beautiful you were!! Anyways here are some pictures to let you know what we have been up to!!

Little Drew

Well we have been so busy lately that I haven't been able to update on our lives. Drew recovered from being sick about a week ago, and is now sick again. I thought at first that it was just his teeth coming in, but I am pretty sure that it is some kind of cold or a combination of both. Poor guy probably got his mom's crappy immune system! He has been so fun though.
The other day Nick's dad came over to help fix a toilet and Drew had to be right in there with the guys trying to help in any way that he could. He wes stealing tools and hiding them in a cup!
He loves Nick soo much and wants to do everything that his Daddy does. Here a a few examples of the "men things" he is learning about:
* Burping, he loves it when Nick burps and tries hard to imitate him
* Grunting, he is a big helper and when he is moving something heavy, this somehow seems to help
Shoveling Snow
Laundry Time!
*Throwing random objects at mom. The other night we were out at dinner and Nick was throwing bits of food at us and Drew was laughing hysterically. It was so cute. I tried not to laugh with him as to be a good example that we don't throw food, but Nick had him rolling so I had to join in. I guess I will be breaking that habit soon.
*Trying to go to the bathroom like Dad. To him it's fascinating.
*Drinking gross protein shakes. Yuck!
*Insisting that he applies deodorant just like Daddy.
*Using a razor to shave his face, head, belly, pretty much anywhere his little arms can reach (with out a razor blade of course.)
* Home Depot, Costco Pizza and Coke
*Balls, trucks and dogs
These are just a few funny things that are on his lists of favorites that I thought that I would share.
I have been cooking a bit lately and have taught Drew the bad habit of licking that beaters. So when I make cake or cooking or frosting, I will let him have one, it also helps keep him busy. The other day I made crepes and he was sure that I was punishing him for not letting him lick those beaters, and again when I was emptying a can of chick soup he wanted to lick the spatula. To him they were all like yellow batter, and he felt definitely jipped. If you are wondering, yes it is 1 in the morning. I am only able to get things done at night. Nick works from home so he is usually in the office all day, so I grab a Rockstar after everyone goes to bed and pound out things that need to be done. I most likely got this habit from my mom who is still known for staying up late watching some 1990 BYU football game. Don't ask. It is so nice to have Nick at home. He is so helpful and patient with Drew. I am truly blessed for having such a wonderful husband. I am working on my website (that's actually what I am supposed to be doing) for photography. When I get it done, I will post a link so I can get every one's feed back. Well I better go, it's daylight savings time so I am not quite sure what exact time it is.
